Elburn Lions To Support Newtown, Connecticut

The Elburn Lions have answered the call to help a community in need.  On December 12, 2012 Newtown, Connecticut suffered the second-deadliest mass school shooting in US history. At the request of the Newtown Lions Club, the Elburn Lions have donated to help support the community in the aftermath of this horrific event.  The donation will go towards counseling the children from Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Lazarus House Great Western Freedom Four Walk or Run

The Elburn Lions will be sponsoring the Lazarus House Great Western Freedom Four Walk or Run on July 4, 2013.  The event offers a competitive 4-mile CARA Certified run on a USATF certified course on the Fox River Trail Runners Circuit and a 2-mile scenic walk suitable for all age groups. The event is a great way to lend support to people in our community who need help to gain their freedom from homelessness. Elburn Lions sponsor the Elburn Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing

The Elburn Chamber of Commerce is hosting a golf outing at Hughes Creek Golf Course on June 6, 2013.  The Lions will be sponsoring a hole and selling raffle tickets. Raffle tickets will be for a new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Come on out for a great day of golf and get your chance to win a new car! The drawing will be held at Elburn Days in August.
