Planting a Million Trees – Do You Believe it Can Be Done?

As you know, Lions Club International is a community service organization. We believe that an important part of our service is caring for our environment. 2011-2012 Lions International President Wing-Kun Tam is challenging Lions around the world to plant one million trees this year to demonstrate the strength of our global network. For more information on the Lions International tree planting initiative, follow the links below:

Help Our Club Replace a Tree - For You, Your Children, For Future Generations to come.

Recent years have seen the Fox Valley area impacted by storms, drought and the ash borer. In 2011, Lions Park lost mature trees due to storm damage and the ash borer. As such, President Tam's initiative has resonated within our local organization.

In 2012, we will be replacing trees at our park, and also looking to plant trees in the Kaneland community we serve. We welcome your help and support. If you would like to contribute,

Here is how to help!
