Vision Screening and Free Pasta Dinner on April 23rd

Diabetic Retinopathy is the leading cause of new blindness in adults in the United States today – early detection is a major factor in the prevention of visual loss.

Come down to the Elburn Lions Club this coming Tuesday, April 23rd, for a free diabetic retinopathy eye screening between noon and 7:00pm. No appointments are necessary. Click here for more information.

Our community pasta dinner, which is normally held the evening of the 4th Tuesday of every month, has been extended to coincide with the vision screening. Whether you are coming down for the vision screening or not, feel free to drop in for a free pasta dinner. We will be serving our free pasta dinner from noon until 7:00pm. As always, donations are welcome.

Many thanks to Al Lagattolla and our friends at the Kane County Chronicle for the recent write-up on this event. We always appreciate the publicity. Click here to read the article.
